Weener Plastics is a leading producer of high-quality and complex plastic packaging products. Sustainability is an important and integral part of our strategy. Customers are manufacturers of both multinational brands and private labels in the personal care, food and household industries, In addition to its head office in Ede (NL), we have 25 locations in 17 countries all over the world. We have 5 Excellence Centers within the global Weener group, and they focus continuously on technological innovation. A highly advanced machine park ensures that products can be produced at each site seven days a week, 24 hours a day. WP has a total of approximately 4200 employees, including flexible workers in our production departments and 400 Mio EUR sales.

Our Group Purchase department is responsible for the Group contracts and driving transparency in Global Purchasing.

The current Purchase organization consists of a diverse team of 3 employees. We work together with specialized partners. You will report to the Group Purchasing Manager. We have opened a position for: Purchasing Department Administrator.

What does the position of Purchasing Department Administrator entail?

As a Purchasing Department Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in our Group Purchase department, contributing to the transparency and efficiency of our Global Purchasing operations. Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing and organizing purchase data for various materials and industrial requirements.
• Keeping records and reports up-to-date.
• Coordinating meetings and events with cross-functional teams.
• Creating functional market reports.
• Handling issues within your area of expertise.
• The Purchasing Department Administrator drives, together with the Purchasers, the sustainable purchase ambition of Weener Plastics

The salary is in accordance with the position and experience. Weener Plastics Group BV also has a good package of secondary employment conditions, like 30 holidays, working remote on certain days and a good pension. Your place of employment will preferably be Ede.

Who are you?

You are a collaborative team player with high standards of accuracy and precision. You are highly organized, and you have excellent scheduling skills, attention to detail and you are project oriented. You have a positive attitude, and you are fluent in English. You have a good knowledge of purchasing methods, preferably NEVI 1, procedures and interest in numbers & statistics.
